There are three Industrial areas in the state for promoting industries in their areas:
- Adityapur Industrial Area Development Authority (AIADA)
- Bokaro Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA)
- Ranchi Industrial Area Development Authority (RIADA)
- Santhal Paragna Industrial Area Development Authority (SPIADA) – is under formation
As stated above, Jharkhand has at present three Industrial Area Development Authorities with Head Quarters at Adityapur, Bokaro
and Ranchi. These authorities are responsible for acquisition of land, development of infrastructure facilities like road, drainage, park, water supply, public utilities, etc. within their jurisdiction. It is contemplated to establish an Industrial Area Development Authority for Santhal Pargana with Head Quarters at Dumka.
In today’s economy, information is the lifeline of any business. Industries can thrive in today’s hyper-competitive market only by continuously improving and re-inventing. They have to learn to re-skill their services to meet the demands of the customers.
Speed, flexibility and transparency of communication will be the deciding factors in the success of any organization. Industries are moving towards a new, more complex bottomline in which profit, environmental concern and social responsibility will have to be balanced.
Adityapur Industrial Area Development Authority (AIADA) caters to the needs of industries setup in its controlled area in Adityapur (Jharkhand), and is striving to excel as a customer focussed knowledge-based organization through its innovative practices.
Many units at Adityapur have achieved sophisticated levels of technology in the field of Auto Components, Special Steel Rolls, Forging, High Pressure Hoses, Aluminium Extrusion, OTR Tyre Retreading, High Speed Diamond and Pin Point Crossings for Indian and Foreign Railways.
